Accepted File Types

Editor’s File Manager is designed to help you easily upload, organize, and access the assets you use most often on your website. To keep things simple and secure, the File Manager separates files into two main categories: Images and Files. Each category accepts a specific set of file types, listed below.

Image File Types

Image files are typically used for adding visuals to your pages. The File Manager supports the following image formats by default:

  • .jpg

  • .jpeg

  • .png (typically includes a transparent background)

  • .gif

  • .heic (commonly used by iPhones and Apple devices)

  • .heif

  • .svg

Pro Tip: If you're uploading images for use on your website, we recommend using JPG or transparent PNG files for best compatibility and performance.
